Four pathways, each tailored to meet your organisation's needs.

Every engagement follows the same rigorous strategic workforce planning (SWP) framework. What changes is where your organisation is starting from and how far you want to go.

Option 01

Scoping Workshop & Maturity Assessment

Typical duration: 2–3 weeks

Most organisations know they need a workforce plan but do not know where to start. The Scoping Workshop provides the clarity you need before committing to a larger engagement and the confidence to move forward with a plan that's matched to your business.

We assess your current SWP maturity across five dimensions: data availability, existing planning processes, leadership engagement, capability and technology. From there we define the scope, sequencing, approach and plan for how to implement SWP.

Outcomes and activities include
  • SWP maturity assessment
  • Current-state workforce data audit
  • Roadmap for next steps
  • Recommended scope and approach for Pilot or Enterprise rollout
  • Executive-ready summary presentation
Start with a scoping workshop
Option 02

SWP Pilot

Typical duration: 10–12 weeks

Before committing to SWP for the whole organisation, it is worth proving the approach in a controlled context. The SWP Pilot applies the full methodology to a defined division or job family. This provides you with a working model and internal proof of concept.

The pilot produces a real, usable strategic workforce plan for the segment or division in scope. More importantly, it surfaces the data gaps, organisational dynamics and capability questions that might otherwise impact a full rollout. You go into an Enterprise-wide Rollout knowing exactly what you're working with.

Outcomes and activities include
  • Workforce segmentation and criticality/scarcity analysis for the pilot scope
  • Supply and demand modelling across planning horizon
  • Workforce gap analysis
  • Intervention roadmap with prioritised levers
  • Lessons learned and recommendations for Enterprise-wide Rollout

Option 03

Enterprise-wide Rollout

Typical duration: 6–9 months

The full SWP methodology applied across the organisation from initial data architecture through to a board-ready strategic workforce plan with a prioritised intervention plan. This is the engagement that produces a plan the whole organisation can implement.

The Enterprise-wide Rollout includes internal capability uplift as standard: your team understands the methodology, can update the model as conditions change and manage the plan independently.

Outcomes and activities include
  • Organisational workforce segmentation and criticality/scarcity analysis by segment
  • Supply and demand modelling across planning horizon and scenarios
  • Workforce gap analysis
  • Intervention roadmap with prioritised levers
  • Internal capability uplift program for SWP ongoing ownership

Option 04

Scenario Planning

Typical duration: 4 weeks

Preparing and planning for multiple futures delivers a strategic workforce plan that is resilient and adaptable to changing conditions, giving leaders the confidence to make decisions today while remaining adaptive to what comes next.

This is particularly critical in highly regulated or competitive industries. Regulatory reform cycles, emergent competitors, infrastructure investment pipelines, digital transformation programs and the accelerating impact of AI and automation all create meaningful uncertainty in workforce demand. Scenario planning makes that uncertainty visible and manageable.

We work with you to define the two to three scenarios most relevant to your context, determine their workforce implications and identify the early indicators that would signal which path you're on.

Outcomes and activities include
  • Facilitated scenario development workshop
  • Two to three defined workforce scenarios with impact assessment
  • High-level implications for headcount, capability and cost for each scenario
  • Early indicator framework for monitoring which scenario is emerging
  • Adaptive intervention recommendations by scenario
